Hundreds of beautiful butterflies flourish in a specially created  butterfly garden, complete with particular plant growth enabling maximal reproduction conditions. Here visitors will be able to observe the butterfly's life cycle.

1. The female butterfly lays its larvae (eggs) on a specific plant.

2. The larvae transform into caterpillars and feed off the plant life until mature.

3. The caterpillars become cocoons.

4. Within a few weeks time the butterfly emerges from the cocoon.

 

 

 

The entire life cycle of the butterfly process takes place in the butterfly garden, exactly as in nature.

Butterflies are less active due to hibernation during the winter months (between December and April). The butterflies are active between May and November.
